The Council on Aging\/Senior Center operates on a limited budget. This budget is set by the numbers of elders within the county, plus financial support from the Alleghany County Commissioners. The current budget will not allow us to meet the services needs of this county. Therefore, we do seek and solicit contributions, of any amount, to help us meet the needs within Allehany County. Your contribution can help and your contribution may be tax deductible, however, each individual should contact their personal tax advisor.
